Our tranquil home has a unique character and offers visitors a sophisticated and unique South African experience. The guest house is within walking distance to the village centre with its charming shops and restaurants. Smoker's patio is available as well as secure parking on the premises. St. Lucia, (South Africa) does not have mansions, with bracing views situated on the beach. It does not boast large shopping malls or heavy traffic jams, nor can it claim that the world cricket games were played there during 2007. St. Lucia has no bright lights ...but, it is situated within a nature reserve where the residents co-exist with nature and animals that frequent the village surrounded by South Africa's first world heritage site, iSimangaliso Wetland Park (previously known as The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park) . The picturesque village of St. Lucia is snuggled between the warm Indian Ocean on the one side, with water temperatures as high as twenty nine degrees in Summer and as high as nineteen degrees in mid-winter. On the western side of the villige is Lake St. Lucia with over one thousand resident Hippopotamus and more than two thousand Nile Crocodile.
